Nowruz Foundation is a 501c3 educational-charitable foundation with the mission to promote Iranian celebrations as acts of civil disobedience.
It is the belief of the Nowruz Foundation that the ancient Iranian cultural celebrations of nonviolence, peace, kindness, compassion and forgiveness which reach their pinnacle with start of spring on Nowruz and are practiced by Iranians of all ages, ethnicities and religions can be effective acts of civil disobedience which Iranians can use to advance their desire for democracy and nonviolence.
